Overview[]

The Rifle is a fast-firing automatic weapon that exchanges firing speed and ammo capacity for power. Each of its 20 bullets deals 3-4 bars of a player's HP in damage, although the bullets are slower in comparison to other guns' and are moderately affected by gravity.

Strategies[]

With the Rifle[]
  • The rifle has a fairly high range, so players with lower range weapons such as Link Guns or M79s can easily eliminated.
  • When defending a certain point, the rifle's high damage can be used to quickly mow through ambush squads.
  • Beware of the rifle's limited ammo capacity! Bullets run out quickly, so every shot should count. After an engagement, the rifle should be reloaded immediately so as to prepare for any other opponents.
  • Account for the rifle's bullet drop. Though its bullets can travel long distances, they will be moderately affected by gravity, which requires its user to raise their aim in proportion to the distance away from the enemy.
Against the Rifle[]
  • Try to attack from a higher point, as the rifle user will then have to fight while keeping account of the bullets' drop - aerial ambushes can lower the opponent's accuracy or make them miss completely.
  • Take advantage of the opponent's slower firing rate, and overwhelm the rifle user with the Minigun, Lasergun, or SMG - all weapons with faster firing speeds.
    • Though the AK-47 is similar to the rifle, the AK-47 has a higher firing speed which can possibly give it an edge over the Rifle user.
  • Remember that the Rifle has a slower reload time than most guns. Try making the opponent waste all their bullets, then kill them while they are reloading.

  • Rifle bullets used to be around twice as large.
  • In training mode the Rifle is considered an "assault" weapon.
  • Compared to the AK-47, the rifle does heavier damage but has a smaller magazine. The AK-47 generally does less damage but has a more forgiving amount of ammo.
