The are a variety of maps to enjoy in-game. From floating islands to open air theaters to claustrophobic cathedrals, there is something for everyone. The plethora of all the maps in the game consists of both open and closed maps. Some maps have different themes, Arctic Dusk and Sleet being examples of ice/snow themed maps. Some have unique features, and others have more common features. There are usually new maps every update.
Even though maps are meant to be randomized, it is possible to have natural map repeats. This is also possible by making a custom game with only one map.
Player made maps can be suggested through the map section in the official Discord server, and the community can vote on whether or not they think it would be a good map. Keep in mind this does not guarantee that your map will be included, as there is a chance that it will get downvoted or ignored (as is usually the case)

Trivia[]
- There are a total of 4 maps exclusive to Dodgeball mode, being DragonsDen, Hull, Igloo, and Temple.
- So far the only map to be unimplemented into the game is Jurassic. Buizerd intended it to be the first battle royale map ever, but was canceled due to being too much for certain types of computers to handle, as previously stated above in the Jurassic column. The supersized map would later be split into multiple different maps, Hunter being the only section of the map so far in the game.
- Webb is the first map to be a tribute to a real-life accomplishment achieved by humans, which was the successful launch and deployment of the James Webb Space Telescope.
- Lonely Island contains the most amount of water out of any map in the game.
- The maps Ash, Naom, and Stasis are based on maps from Soldat (2003). Soldat was also the primary inspiration for Ninja.io itself!
- FacingWorlds is based on a map from Unreal Tournament.
